Activision has officially announced the pricing scheme for the upcoming Guitar Hero World Tour.
As is becoming the norm for big releases, GHWT comes in a variety of flavors, all with separate prices:
- $60: GHWT game -- sans any peripherals
- $100: Guitar Kit -- includes GHWT game and a single guitar
- $190: Band Kit -- includes GHWT game, a guitar, a microphone, and a drum set
- $240: Deluxe Band Bundle
-- includes the above detailed Band Kit, a Male XL t-shirt, battery charger, key chain and cloth guitar case
The first three options seem competitively priced when compared to competitor Rock Band 2, but the Deluxe Band Bundle seems a bit pricey for what are essentially miscellaneous, unnecessary extras. Especially if, like me, that shirt would fit you like a tent.
Correction: A microphone will also be included in the Band Kit and Deluxe Band Bundle. We apologize for any confusion.
