California's Secretary of State Debra Bowen is calling on U.S. voters to create and post videos of any length to YouTube explaining why you'll be voting on November 4th in an effort to motivate more people to register and show up at the polls. The videos can be serious or silly, partisan or non-partisan.
Bowen's office has set up a page with guidelines for uploading the videos to YouTube, which should be sent no later than October 30th. The videos will be reviewed then added to the California SoS Why I'm Voting channel on YouTube within 48 hours.
I'll be looking through the videos as they're posted and will feature any here that are particularly creative, funny or insightful.
