More vampire movies based on Stephenie Meyer's book series seem likely in the wake of Twilight's $70 million weekend take.
Earlier this month during an interview with Wired.com, Twilight script writer Melissa Rosenberg addressed the question of sequels: "We have talked about that. It's all in the works now. The conversations been happening but we're not announcing anything obviously until we see how Twilight does."
Given the first film's humongous opening, Twilight follow-ups makes sense if only because movie goers can't seem to get enough of vegetarian vampire Edward, played by Robert Pattington (pictured).
According to a poll conducted Sunday by ticket sales outfit www.fandango.com, 63 percent of the predominantly female audience who saw Twilight over the weekend plan to see it again.
