Dance Dance Revolution, the classic faux-dancing rhythm title, has been adapted for the stage -- specifically, a musical based on Konami's game will see its off Broadway premiere this December.
The plot of the musical comedy "depicts a futuristic Orwellian society where dancing is illegal. That's until a prophet named Moonbeam Funk shows up to motivate a group of street thugs with dance skills," says GameDaily.
Tickets for Dance Dance Revolution are currently on sale. The show runs from December 3 to December 20 at New York City's Ohio Theater. Tickets will set you back $18, though "buckets of free beer" will be included with the admission price.
