The cult classic Ready 2 Rumble boxing franchise will return in 2009 with a Wii-exclusive sequel, Atari said Tuesday.
Ready 2 Rumble: Revolution will be developed by struggling gamemaker Midway, but published by Atari. It will feature a cast of 20 boxers that are parodies of figures in sports and entertainment. For example, "Dewie Streudel" and "Syphon Cruel", above, are parodies of David Hasselhoff and Simon Cowell.
Other parodied figures include Shaun White and Arnold Schwarzenegger -- screens of those are below.
Revolution will use the Wiimote and nunchuk as motion-sensing boxing gloves, so get Ready 2 Waggle.
