The World Government of the Last Days is Finally Taking Shape
The European Union made up of 27 countries already has a constitutional government with a supreme court, its own currency, a codified system of laws, a large civil service and the mandate for forming its own military force already in place. The EU is the prototype which all the nations of the world will adopt in the not too distant future. The World Government that Jesus Christ will destroy by his coming again to the earth is finally taking shape. (((Luckily, if it's a European world government, it'll be postponing action on Armageddon for 27 years while the translation issues are sorted out.)))
The traditional idea that the Bible prophesied the revival of the Roman Empire in the last days has gone by the wayside like so many other mis-interpretations of prophecy. (((Really? Dang!))) Empires are gone forever. The Prophets clearly state that the final form of government among the nations of the world will not be an empire, i.e., a dictatorship over all nations headed by the antichrist. All the nations of the world will be divided into ten distinct groups, each about the same in size and strength; and each headed by one dominant nation with its satellite nations. The first mention of Rome in scripture referred to geographical Rome. But the final mention of Rome meant cultural Rome or possessing the characteristics of the old Roman Empire. The same applies to the mention of Babylon. The US is both cultural Rome and cultural Babylon in prophecy. (((With the upkeep of both Rome AND Babylon, no wonder the US is broke.)))
But the ten groupings of nations spoken of by Daniel will each participate in its group not because they were the losers in a military contest but because they have a hand in forming that group and its policies and laws. The present day European Union perfectly approximates one of those ten divisions of nations.
Mr. Henry Kissinger, former Secretary of State, recently made a statement that sounded like a prophecy from the Bible when he said that, “The world government of the future will succeed, not because a dominant power forced the nations into compliance, but because each nation involved would have a hand in forming that government”. That analysis describes the present day European Union and the ten nation division described in Daniel and Revelation. (((Okay, we've got the US, the EU, and, woah, *eight* other major equivalent powers. Where are these guys? Do those SETI guys know something we don't?)))
The necessary changes both within and among nations to match prophecy have slowly begun to come into view. First there arose a social and cultural interchange at the international level which demanded regulations and laws not provided by the participating nations. Technological advances in one nation were quickly dispersed to many other nations. (((It's amazing how much he talks like Thomas Friedman.)))
Science finally overcame the curvature of the earth by stationing communication satellites 20,000 miles above the planet which could relay messages in all directions, to and from each other and to and from any point on the earth. (((Way to go, Planetary Society!))) No part of this planet is more than an arm’s length away now. What happens in Timbuktu vibrates in the US and other nations instantly. What matters to some fly- speck size state is broadcast by the alphabet soup group (abc,cbs,nbc,msnbc) and served immediately in the sacrosanct areas of each family in the US almost as it happens. So that when violence breaks out anywhere in the globe it happens in the homes of the families of the US and other nations of the world.
The Internet finally made its way into nearly every nation on earth, even to cyber cafes in the villages of Africa. It was announced ten years ago that 65% of all packages being delivered by the US Postal Service were sold on the Internet. Soon, every business in America was selling their products online worldwide. All mom and pop type local businesses either moved to cyber space or went belly up. (((Now pundit #4 is talking just like Al Gore, which is even more amazing. You can see why I had to post this. In fact, I'm stockpiling popcorn for the Final Reckoning even as we speak.)))
But to keep the profits rolling in, online businesses were forced to go world-wide in their search for low-cost products of every description. You guessed it, China, Taiwan and a host of other nations supplied manufactured goods which were lower in cost than wholesale products at home, even with all the shipping charges included. Trans-national world commerce demanded trans-national laws and regulations. (((More Thomas Friedman, except in his world the Chinese have better set-design.)))
All of this world wide commerce between nations meant that the language differences of the world, which began at the Tower of Babel in the days of Nimrod, had for the first time in history been largely overcome. Online translation programs are now universal. Reading another language now takes only a few clicks of the mouse. (((Google whips Tower of Babel. Hey wait, doesn't Al Gore hang out with Google now? I better use Google and find that out.)))
The nations of Europe led the way in trans-national governance which points the way for a world government. The problems and the solutions of all the nations of the world are very much the same for each nation. The problem of global terrorism must be faced by each and every nation. And since the terrorists operate worldwide only a world wide solution will succeed. So far, no nation has found a fail-safe way to protect itself from the terrorists culture of death that works secretly from within the borders of a nation and are manned by ”men willing enough to die”.
The more recent problem of a world economic crisis also demands cooperation among nations. National sovereignty, which once served to protect national identity and interests, must now be relaxed to a degree to allow the cooperation among nations for protection from economic collapse.
Global problems require global solutions which require global governance. It’s forming now; the World Government that will be in place when Jesus Christ comes again. Israel is the only nation that will not cooperate with this new world government. Why will Israel will be the only holdout? Because they will not worship the many gods and goddesses of the Great Whore, who is a conglomerate of all religions of the world, who will be riding the Beast of World Government. (((Man, that ought to be a sight to see – in the few moments before Israel nukes it, that is.)))
Israel is truly monotheistic, believing in only One God, Jehovah. The Prophets declared that the US Marine Corps and Army will be among the armies of the world gathered at the gates of the city of Jerusalem ready to destroy Israel. Read Zechariah chapter fourteen for the details. Yes, the military forces of the United States of America will be gathered against Israel. The US is becoming more anti-Israel and anti-Christian by the minute. America will join the forces of the antichrist, for America has already joined the religion of the Great Whore, if not in contract, in near total conformity. America has shifted from the God of her Fathers to just any god or no god at all will do. (((Clearly time for a Friedman reboot here. And wait, aren't *Moslems* supposed to be the super-monotheistic guys? Nobody's claiming the Mooj are overcome with creeping ecumenical secularity.)))
The Obama Shift has affected America, like the Constantianian Shift and Caesarpapism affected Rome and Early Christianity viz. the total destruction of Christianity in the Roman Empire. And it has happened in one generation. Corruption from within did what all the armies of the world had failed to do. (Google: Constantianian Shift and Caesaropapism for details) (((Way to go Google! Our own beloved America, has been humbled in the eyes of the world community of nations, because of her pride and arrogance and corruption and blasphemy against the Lord Jesus Christ. As proof, in the recent presidential elections America responded from her soul to the hypnotic image and tone of the antichrist aura. (((Luckily, she had to settle for Secretary of State.))) All in preparation for the total destruction of nations, the rule of the antichrist in person.
Glory! It is exciting to live in the last days. (((Sing it, brother.))) Yet no man knows the day or the hour, but we do know the times and the seasons. Jesus’ coming is at the door. Be ye also ready for in such an hour as you think not, the Son of Man cometh.
