It's so great that the cheery locals in this mindblown space-habitat are kitted out in loose-tied, orgiastic 1970s style. Maybe they're future steampunks, and gathered in their space-sphere to drop acid in a carefully-calibrated historical reenactment of the private lives of JPL engineers.
