The Daily Telegraph recently reported that a strange and wonderful object has been recovered from a Beaulieu pond. Neither a rusty tin can nor a worn-out boot, the item in question appears to be none other than a spawn of Davros.
While the exact location of the discovery is being kept under wraps to prevent scores of Who-fans from descending on the area in search of other Dalek parts, the pond warden responsible for the volunteer clean-up effort that unearthed the piece assures the public that no more remnants were dredged up. It was, however, revealed that the BBC had traveled to Hampshire for on-location filming on at least one occasion during the Colin Baker-era, thus fostering speculation that this is, indeed, a "real" Dalek.
Kind of makes that old tire you caught fishing even less appealing, doesn't it?
