Spime Watch: roomware

http://blog.roomwareproject.org/

*Huh. I was wondering when some roomware would show up, to wedge itself into the 3d space between onboard bodyware stuff and urban informatics. Now these guys handily call themselves "Roomware."

*Still among the missing: "buildingware," "blockware," "regionware," and "nationware."
I'm thinking GPS has already got it hammered as "globalware."

*It was Adam Greenfield who first theorized that volumes of everyware might have scaling issues. Right now, I'd say that cityware seems to be leading the field. Handhelds are reshaping cities in the way that cars once did.

*As a weird spin on that, these guys quoted in the WashPost are claiming that the American "national economy" no longer exists. Practically all the economic action is coming out of American urban clusters.

*If they could look closer, would they see that wealth emerges from particular *blocks* in urban clusters? Maybe even particular rooms?
