Broadband worrywarts are up in arms over Time Warner Cable's proposal to impose download caps on its internet subscribers, starting with a $15 1-GB/month plan and topping out with a $150 all-you-can-download bonanza.
We know how quickly you can blow through that single GB even when using Time Warner's lowest tier 786 Kbps connection (an hour and 18 minutes, if you try hard). We know that overage fees will run you $2 a GB. We know times are lean.
And we see you on the net already, bandwidth-calorie counting.
But come on, live a little. You worked hard today. Don't you deserve a GB or two?
Here's Wired.com's (and your) suggestions on how best to blow through that 1 GB. We hear that once you blow the cap, you can never go back.
While you can submit as many GB busters as you want, you can only submit one every 30 minutes. No HTML allowed.
