"inspired by Rob van Kranenburg and Bruce Sterling, project trapped is an idea of the internet of things created in the most private place i could think of - my home.
"within trapped i have tagged over 40 objects/data-carriers at my home (such as coffee mug, sugar, basil, my dog Nelle etc.) and equipped myself with an rfid reader. whenever i am home, anyone with an internet access can trace my actions and see the somewhat intimate communication among myself and my computer.
"i believe rfid can [and should] be a way of communicating among people as individuals without any borders and using the technology as a nice tool instead of an end in itself.
it's all about data. everyone's and everything's data. this is me as data. human errored data.
"so why don't you get the tools, get the code and jump-in in the lovely world of interacting with objects and communicating with other human-likes in an open and pre-conception free way."
