*Two things of interest here. First, how eager people are, historically, to make glamorous sex-bombs out of female intelligence agents. Even when they're having illicit sex, and they do, women spies aren't any more glamorous than anybody else who's involved in sex for ulterior motives. Elizabeth Bentley was having about ten times as much sex as Anna Chapman, and Elizabeth was still one of the least sex-bomb-ish of women. On the contrary, Elizabeth Bentley was obviously a bookish, emotionally frail geek chick.
*Second, man it is hard to patch a daily life together once your cover has exploded. It's like fighting mental illness. It just goes on and on and on.
