In August, the Invisibility event, organized biennially by Itau Cultural, reaches its third edition and continues the discussion on the production of science fiction in literature and the arts in Brazil.
There are four roundtable discussions divided into two days, bringing together various artists, writers, cartoonists and researchers working in the area. In addition, the program includes special presentations by the artist and VJ Correa Walmor Wandeclayt and Lady A.

Adriana Amaral is a professor and researcher at the Graduate Program in Communication Sciences, University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos (UNISINOS), Rio Grande do Sul PhD in Social Communication at PUC-RS. CNPq scholarship, is the author of Dangerous Visions: a genealogy of the arch-cyberpunk, among others, and maintains the blog: www.adriamaral.com
Alexandre Mandarino is the author of tales of fantasy and fanfiction. A journalist for 15 years in the areas of culture and technology Journal of Brazil, the site connects and Hypervoid. Translated the book The Invisibles, Grant Morrison. Maintains since 1998 the electronic music project Totec Chip.
Feldens Alice is a journalist. Master studies in languages at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS) - where he studied fiction in Brazilian literature - part of the Center for Comparative Cultural Studies (NECC) UFMS.
Arnaldo Mont'Alvão is a master of language studies at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS). He is a member of NECC-UFMS, where he coordinates the e-fiction. Published in books and magazines, on the Brazilian critic of science fiction.
Cristiane Busato Smith is professor of English literature at the University Tuiuti and master's degree in literary theory Uniandrade. Publisher Scripta Alumni Magazine, currently researching the representation of otherness in literature and painting.
Daniel Pellizzari is a writer and translator. One of the creators of Evil Seal Books, published the novel with Black Finger Nail. Led the authors David Foster Wallace, William Burroughs, David Mitchell and Hunter S. Thompson. It is co-author with Rafael clips, Furry Water, a series of comic books being published, even in 2010 by Dark Horse Comics.
Cezar Nolasco Edgar is a professor in the undergraduate and master's of UFMS. Member of Editorial Board of Editora UFMS president and editor of Reports in Cultural Studies, coordinates the NECC-UFMS.
Fabio Fernandes is a teacher of Digital Games and Digital Media at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP). Wrote The Imaginary Construction of Cyber and The Days of Swine. Translated, among others, Clockwork Orange and Neuromancer. He is responsible for editorial, Latin America, the anthology Best American Fantasy.
Jacques Barcia is a journalist and writer. Editing digital magazine Kaliopa toward the postmodern fantasy, and coedita the virtual magazine Terra Incognita, focusing on science fiction. It is co-author of the blog Post-Weird Thoughts.
The Lady is the author of tales of horror and sci-fi, published in collections and magazines. She collaborates with cyberpunk zine about Overclocking and DJ and VJ active in electro-industrial scene five years ago. It was producer of the TV and webprograma D. Monia Monia D-Cyber Party, which mixed music and visual performances on fetishism and science fiction. DJ has played in various places and events, among them I Industrial Noise Fest in Curitiba and São Paulo Inferno Club. (((Must be a heck of a gal.)))
Nelson de Oliveira is a writer. Doctor of Letters by the University of São Paulo (USP), coordinates the postgraduate course broadly Practice of Literary Creation of Cultural Terracotta. He is the author of, among others, The Curse of the Macho, Sharp and Hate That Season We Had a Cat, for which won the Casa de las Americas.
Octavio Aragão is a teacher, graphic designer and illustrator. PhD in visual arts from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and associate professor of Communication School of UFRJ (ECO / UFRJ), wrote the book The Hand That Creates. He also edited the anthology of short stories and Intempol coescreveu Imaginary Brazilian and remote areas.
Quelciane Marucci is a researcher of science fiction, digital literature and cultural studies. MSc in Literary Theory and Comparative Studies in Literature and Cultural Memory in UFMS, graduated in letters by the University for Development of the State and Pantanal Region.
Rafael Grampa is comic writer. Winner of the Eisner Awards in May 2008 by the HQ, which is co-author, with three awards HQ MIX, the categories of Best Blog of Graphic Artist, Best Design and Best Special Edition National National, the last two by the graphic novel Even Delivery.
Diegues Richard is a writer and editor. Author of Magic - Book I, Under the Light of the Lamp, Cyber Times Algor and Brasiliana, Tarja is a member of the Editorial focused on fantasy literature and science fiction.
Walmor Correa is an artist. He features papers presented at the XXVI São Paulo Biennial, the Museum of Fine Arts in Cape Town (South Africa) and the Goethe Institute (Porto Alegre), among other exhibitions. Performs work related to art and science, exploring the intersection between text and image, reason and fantasy.
M. Wandeclayt is technical in avionics and multimedia artist. Founded in 1997 in partnership with members in New York and Madrid, the electronic band Aire'n Terre, a pioneer in using the Internet as an environment for composition. Develops work of video art and photography, featuring fetish themes and imagery cyberpunk.
