Programma Share Festival 2010 e Conferenza Stampa

Cari amici di Share Festival,
il programma Smart Mistakes è online. Dai fallimenti progettuali alle estetiche dell'errore, la 6° edizione di Piemonte Share Festival è dedicata alla portata artistica e culturale dell'errore e della scoperta inaspettata, attraverso installazioni, mostre, performance, dibattiti e, naturalmente, con l’attesa premiazione delle opere finaliste di Share Prize.
La 6° edizione del Piemonte Share Festival diretto da Simona Lodi e Chiara Garibaldi è ormai dietro l’angolo. Nell’ambito degli eventi di Your Time, Torino 2010 European Youth Capital Share Festival condivide con ClubToClub, Musica90 e Prospettiva il progetto Youth Museum che occupa dal 15 ottobre al 7 novembre alcuni spazi del Museo Regionale di Scienze Naturali di Torino.
Ed aspettando il festival, ecco due appuntamenti che ben identificano cosa significhi fare arte nell’era digitale.
WARM UP - PIEMONTE SHARE FESTIVAL

YOUTH MUSEUM - Museo Regionale di Scienze Naturali, via Giolitti 36, Torino
Venerdì 15 ottobre ore 19, secondo piano, ingresso gratuito
performance di ENIAC, INTO THE WOOD
Into The Wood è una performance elettroacustica a tematica ambientale che mette in primo piano il Legno come fonte sonora per la creazione di ritmiche, textures sonore e melodie. L’opera si completa grazie al supporto creativo della scenografa Catherine Chanoux e della videomaker Silvia Poeta Paccati. Prodotta da Piemonte Share in collaborazione con SMIR, Spazi Multimediali Innovazioni e Ricerca.

conferenza di NICOLAS NOVA, Incidenti e fallimenti come materiale creativo per il futuro prossimo
L’errore – come afferma il direttore artistico Simona Lodi - racchiude una potenza creativa unica perché rappresenta sempre l’emergere di un problema, indica una questione che necessita attenzione e che di conseguenza genera soluzioni e innovazione. Il tema principale della sesta edizione del Piemonte Share Festival sarà affrontato attraverso questa interessante conferenza dal titolo Incidenti e fallimenti come materiale creativo per il futuro prossimo tenuta dall’affermato ricercatore Nicolas Nova.

ore 21:00 Proiezione Video selezionati dal 13th Japan Media Art Festival
Share Festival collabora con il Japan Media Art Festival presentando su grande schermo uno sguardo sulla creatività video del Giappone contempornaeo. Uno screening costituito da 3 parti, che coprono diversi aspetti del linguaggio video: entertainment, arte e animazione.

Share Festival Program and Press Conference

Dear Share Festival friends,
the Smart Mistakes programme is now on-line. From project failure to the aesthetics of error, the 6th Piemonte Share Festival will be exploring the artistic and cultural import of error and chance discovery, through installations, exhibitions, performances, debates and, of course, the highly anticipated awarding of this year’s Share Prize.
The 6th Piemonte Share Festival, directed by Simona Lodi and Chiara Garibaldi is just around the corner. Within the programme of events for Your Time, Torino 2010 European Youth Capital, Share Festival together with ClubToClub, Musica90 and Prospettiva will be presenting Youth Museum, hosted from 15th October to 7th November by the Regional Museum of Natural Science in Turin.
And in the lead up to the festival, two special events will be showcasing just what it means to create art in the digital age.

performance by ENIAC, INTO THE WOOD
Into the Wood is an environment-themed electro-acoustic performance that uses wood as its main source of sound for the creation of sound textures, rhythms and melodies. The performance is made complete thanks to the creative input of set designer Catherine Chanoux and videomaker Silvia Poeta Paccati. Produced by Piemonte Share in partnership with SMIR, Multimedia Spaces for Innovation and Research.

conference by NICOLAS NOVA, Accidents and failures as creative material for the near future
Error – as artistic director Simona Lodi explains - has truly unique creative power, as it represents the emergence of a problem, a pointer highlighting the need for attention that ultimately leads to new solutions and innovation. The central theme of the sixth Piemonte Share Festival will be looked at through an engaging conference entitled Accidents and failures as creative material for the near future, chaired by the prominent researcher Nicolas Nova.
THURSDAY, 28th OCTOBER
9 PM Screening of selected videos from the 13th Japan Media Art Festival
To mark its partnership with the Japan Media Art Festival, Share Festival is presenting on the big screen a glimpse of creative trends in video in contemporary Japan. The three-part screening will cover different aspects of video: entertainment, art and animation.
