*Simon will be getting us up to speed on his new book's grand theme of atemporal anachronesis and how that zeitgeist manifests itself in the contemporary music scene. Simon will be at this however long it takes him to demonstrate his point. I imagine this won't take him long, as his argument is (a) obvious once it's pointed-out (b) lavishly backed by well-researched hard evidence and (c) of pressing general relevance to pretty much every contemporary creative field.
