Trying to think which city I know needs to have its entire facades stripped off and replaced with forty-thousand shaded, optically-tracked polygons. Las Vegas, probably. A completely sober, ad and glitter-free Las Vegas might be a great place to live. Cheap booze, buffets and no visible temptations, hey, who couldn't like that. Even Germans would go.
*Can't believe the engineering chutzpah that puts reflections, occlusions and animated objects in this demo. If you'd shown this to SIGGRAPH in 1991, the viewers would have needed psychological counseling.
