THE NEXT NATURE POWER SHOW IN AMSTERDAM

The Next Nature Power Show is an intellectual spectacle where artists, scientists, designers, filmmakers, politicians and philosophers present their radical ideas, visionary statements and powerful images on how to design, build and live in Next Nature: the nature caused by people.

After successful editions in Germany and the United States, the Power Show is returning to Amsterdam. On November 5th, 2011 the City Theater of Amsterdam will be overrun with over 20 visions of Next Nature. Expect a mixture of live performance, film, physical experience and virtual imagination.

THE NEXT NATURE BOOK LAUNCH

After three years of development, our lustrous book is finally at the printers! With 500 pages and seven themed chapters, Next Nature asks the elementary question "What is nature?" and comes up some controversial answers.

Next Nature will be launched at the Power Show with an on-stage review by Regine Debatty, blogger at We Make Money Not Art.

Read a sample chapter and pre-order the book here: http://www.nextnature.net/book/

Edited and designed by Koert van Mensvoort and Hendrik-Jan Grievink. With contributions by (among others) Bruce Sterling, Kevin Kelly, Rachel Armstrong, Tracy Metz, Bas Haring, Allison Guy, Peter Lunenfeld, Berry Eggen and Jos De Mul.
