Some of this is pretty out-there, like the fact that this is a "blog post" – but most of it is a logical extension of the industry's ambitions over many decades. The technology makes sense. It's the institutions and the business models that are swept away.
*Google doesn't make money from Android – they even bought-out a money-making company in order to preserve this mobile software empire they're creating. If you're a Nokia engineer you must stare at a strange monster like this in raw despair. It's like you own some nice neat bulldozers while your rivals have befriended a volcano.
