*People whose judgment I respect think this Bollywood rock'n'roll movie is pretty good cinema. As in well-acted, well-scripted and emotionally intense.
*I'm guessing this means a lackluster first release followed by endless midnight-movie cult status. I could be wrong about that. It could, for instance, be that the republic of India has just produced the greatest rock and roll movie ever made.
*Incidentally, I just compiled a Twitter list of credible and/or interesting Bollywood functionaries and commentators. It's like a planetary masala smorgasboard.
