*There might be something to this. It's a strange hack, but it makes some sense; it's like binoculars for your binoculars, and that might solve some of the oldest technical problems in head-mounted devices. Let's wait and see.
*Meanwhile, it's gotta be all about DARPA and the troops, for some reason. I happen to be quite the DARPA fan, but DARPA's kinda notorious for trying to help out their brass-hat maestros in the Pentagon and accidentally-on-purpose inventing stuff like the ARPANET. The military always ignores DARPA, while everybody else is all over them, trying to get their far-out lab notions funded on the imperial dime.
*I don't think I'd much want to blink my way into a firefight situation while wearing contact lenses PLUS goggles, but maybe that's just me. If I waded into a fight in urban terrain and my guerrilla ADVERSARIES were wearing these gizmos, I think I'd have cause for concern.
