*"Flocking" is quite an old Artificial Life accomplishment and exceedingly common in code art, so it's very interesting to see "flocking" artistically back-projected onto actual real-life flocking.
*When starlings are flocking, are the starlings just flocking, or are they "flocking"? Both? Neither? How can one best describe the relationship of "flocking" to flocking? Is it a metaphor? A visual abstraction? A mathematical model? A visual illusion like seeing faces in flames?
*What is a "flock" as distinct from the individual starlings?
*What would happen if you somehow wired-up a flock of starlings so that they actually flocked "better" and in a new and improved way? A murmuration of post-starlings.
*Whatever it is, a flock isn't "chaos" – and neither is a "flock."
