*That seems like quite an elaborate and densely thought-through project, given that there aren't any big, thin, floppy, interactive screens that have the physical qualities of newsprint.

"Interactive Newsprint is a new EPSRC-funded project examining how printed electronics could revolutionise the newspaper industry.
"A collaboration between the University of Central Lancashire( UCLan), the University of Dundee, the University of Surrey and printed electronics firm Novalia, the project will work with communities throughout Preston, Lancashire to design a usable and revolutionary paper-based news product."
