*No no no wait! Trust me, you need to look at this Creators Project thing, because this is some "experimental film-making" that is, I'm not kidding you, actually interesting.
*Okay, maybe a bunch of tech-art talking-heads that look like snowy swirling dots are not for everybody – YET. However, come back next year, and check out the results of this "experiment" in so-called "film." I rather imagine there will be a ton of labwork resembling this, splashed all over the blog here.
*Why? Because some tech-art geek will perform this Kinect-DSLR hack with a bank of Leap Motion-Controllers. Leaps have ten-micrometer scale resolution. That's a three-d grain so fine that it rivals the acuity of cameras. When that starts rolling past your eyes and fingers, it's gonna look very OMG-What-the-Hell – it'll look rather like this, but scaled up by a factor of 200. That's not "film," that's a live, interactive, volumetric, video-cyberspace with sub-millimeter registration. And cheap – like consumer-gizmo cheap.
*It's gonna make this "experimental film" here look like "primitive augmented ubiquity," because it's gonna look like some actually-existent augmented ubiquity. Just, pitched right off the ol' mash-up wheelbarrow. Into our laps.
*That's why you need to look.
