*I get megatons of this stuff. This arrived today. Spirituality, business boosterism, and, especially, the only genuinely American religious movement, spiritualized business boosterism.
*They may seem a little odd, but I defy you to explain why they're any objectively odder than the Romney Ryan Mormon Catholic Randian Tea Party ticket.

Involuntary Simplicity: Spontaneous Evolution From the Inside Out with Steve Bhaerman (Swami Beyondananda) and friends Bruce Lipton, Michael Dowd, Charles Eisenstein, Richard Flyer and Dr David Gruder 11 September - 16 October
At a time when so many individuals are facing challenges, financial and otherwise, people are seeking practical optimism. They want to feel better in the short run, AND have ways to transform the crises they are facing into opportunities that propel them toward a new level of growth.
In this entertaining, inspiring and provocative online series, host Steve Bhaerman (the slightly more serious alter ego of cosmic comic Swami Beyondananda, and co-author with Bruce Lipton of the breakthrough book Spontaneous Evolution) brings five leading-edge evolutionaries together to discuss how to simply and practically navigate these transformational times.
More than 30 years ago, Duane Elgin wrote a book called Voluntary Simplicity. That was then. Nowadays, evolutionary emergence is bursting through every structure in society, calling forth new ways of being and living. At a time when many individuals are suffering from “complexes,” Involuntary Simplicity offers simple truths to contextualize the sometimes overwhelming complexity.
In Session 1, Steve and his wife and “co-heart” Trudy frankly share their own evolutionary journey – where they drastically downscaled their footprint, and upscaled their life. After leaving their beautiful home of 12 years in what they call “triumphant surrender,” they experienced wave after wave of amazing grace as they let go of what was no longer needed, and received all they required to thrive.
In Session 2, Steve is joined by his Spontaneous Evolution co-author Bruce Lipton (author of Biology of Belief) as they discuss what science has to say about our current evolutionary stage, and the simple truths that will guide us through this passage.
In Session 3, Michael Dowd, evangelical minister and author of Thank God for Evolution, offers a truly integral view of spirituality that includes and transcends both religion and non-religion – exactly what is needed to overgrow the current divide between science and spirituality.
Then, in Session 4, Charles Eisenstein, author of Sacred Economics, offers us a glimpse of the economics of the future – and how it is already being lived in the present. What are the simple laws of a truly-generative economics? Tune in and find out!
In Session 5, Steve is joined by Richard Flyer, founder of the Conscious Community Network and Connecting the Good, both in Reno, Nevada. As a volunteer community activist, Richard has developed systems for non-confrontational discourse that has helped his community “weave a web of mass-construction.”
In the finale, Session 6, David Gruder, author of Integrity IQ, will outline some simple guidelines for living in integrity in an evolving world.
Each session will be a lively, interactive dialogue between Steve and the guest … and there will be ample opportunity for questions … and answers!
By the end of this series, you will see how the emerging evolution is impacting your life, your world, your relationships, your work … AND you will have both the context and the tools to turn crisis into opportunity. And, you will be entertained. You’ll laugh while you learn, and learn while you laugh. Find out more...

Businesswoman talks success and moving on from the past
SYDNEY, Australia – Unfortunately, it’s the society we live in. People are “ugly” towards each other: on the drive to work, at the checkout line, on Facebook and Twitter. But, Nola Anne Hennessy says people must be shown a better way to treat one another before behaviors can change.
In her new book, No Boxing Allowed, Hennessy discusses her personal journey of leaving an unhappy marriage, finding a new path without fear and healing herself of a lifetime of suffering.
“I have witnessed and been a victim of various acts of violence and inhumanity,” says Hennessy. “It is these acts that inspire me to do everything I can to turn around what is clearly wrong in our world.”
No Boxing Allowed takes readers through the path Nola took to achieve self-intelligence and inner serenity.
“Having been in senior leadership business roles from the age of 19, my abilities to lead, inspire, manage, nurture and influence others have culminated in decades of research,” Hennessy says. “I decided to share what I have learned, so that others could benefit from my wisdom and experience.”
This inspiring and compelling book is a guide to life and has become a much sought-after reference for people seeking to affect positive change around the globe. Readers are taught how to recognize personal power for the betterment of themselves, are provided with an invaluable checklist of great leadership behaviors, taught how to recognize controlling behaviors of others and inspired to be the best they can be.
Readers are encouraged to erase their fears, trust their abilities and remove their baggage.

The Art of Redefinition In “Bushels and Barrels”, author Lee Ray gives readers hope and inspiration in the last place they expect: their own lives. With everything going on in the world today, people have begun to lose touch with their own American Dream. In his book Bushels and Barrels: Redefining the American Dream, author Lee Ray implores readers to rediscover their own version and redefine it. Sharing his own story with readers, Lee provides a sometimes heart breaking, often eye-opening, and always inspiring example of redefinition. Guiding those seeking to rediscover their own blessings and imploring them to remember what it once was that they considered the “American Dream”, Bushels and Barrels is a thought provoking and inspiring lesson to anyone who may have found themselves at a crossroads in life. Throughout the pages of his book, Lee Ray presents common and easy to relate to challenges, followed immediately by a chapter highlighting the blessings many people often overlook in their own lives. In doing so, Lee encourages readers to alter their perspective on life and gain new appreciation for the many things they may have overlooked in the seemingly constant struggle to make it through today’s world, which is often full of doubt, disillusionment and despair. Terming blessings “bushels” and challenges “barrels”, Lee states that “we are all living the dream; sometimes we just need to change exactly what the term means”. By changing the very definition of the phrase that all Americans are familiar with, readers will be able to thoroughly examine the positive aspects of their own lives, forgive the negative, and rediscover what it really means to be “living the dream”. Bushels and Barrels encourages readers to take out their old dreams, dust them off and make them new again; lending a “glass half full” outlook that will stay with readers long after they’ve finished reading. Lee Ray grew up in Salem, Virginia and is now a happily married father of two living in Dayton, Ohio.
