NANO SUPERMARKET REVEALS NEW PRODUCT LINE
From sleek fashion to life-saving medicines, the NANO Supermarket presents nanotech products that could hit store shelves within the next decade. During Dutch Design Week, the NANO Supermarket will debut a new line of products to add to its visionary collection of speculative nanotechnologies.
These new products promise to provoke debate about the day-to-day applications of nanotechnology. Among the eleven fresh offerings are Biophilia, transgenic silkworms that weave silk scaffolding to grow human organs, and the Energy Belt, which converts excess fat into electricity. Other newcomers include glow-in-the-dark dog poop, gender-selecting condoms and a pill that turns sweat into perfume.
The NANO Supermarket bus will be at Dutch Design Week from October 20-28 in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. Opening event on October 20 at 15:00.
