*This week I visited the "THNK Amsterdam School of Creative Leadership" to lecture on design fiction. We had a design-fiction drill – a brief competitive contest among 32 THNK scholars. The assignment was to re-imagine "Hopjes," an everyday, familiar, Dutch chocolate coffee candy, as a plausible "diegetic prototype" from one of four scenarios of the year 2038.

*The winners were these people, the "Global Gypsy Jet-Set" team, who triumphed by creating an all-too-convincing future snack called "TED Conference Brain Candy."

Jonathan Wisler, Kaz Brecher, Neil Simmons, Rachel Sinha, Lynn King, Peter Mandeno, and Paul Falzone.
*Congratulations, and I hope you know enough not to gorge yourselves on that stuff.
