Amazon Kindle Fire HDX
With a 323 ppi display that offers better-than-1080-line resolution,
the Kindle Fire HDX deserves serious consideration if you're looking for a 7-inch tablet. It's a zippy performer with good battery life, and it offers standout interaction with smart TVs, streaming boxes, and connected consoles. The HDX also lets you download Amazon Prime content (finally!) so you can watch it offline, whether you're on a plane or in a Faraday cage.
