Nena Farrell is a writer and reviewer at WIRED. She primarily covers home and sleep products, smart home tech, gift guides, and parenting gear. She’s been a reviewer at WIRED since 2023, and before that was a smart home updates writer at The New York Times’ Wirecutter and an associate home editor at Sunset magazine. She has a bachelor’s in journalism from San Francisco State University and is based in San Diego. When she’s not switching her sheets for the 10th time that week, you can find her setting her living room lights to really annoying colors and falling over at dance class.
