Paulina Rowińska is a science writer with a PhD in mathematics from Imperial College London. Before joining Quanta Magazine as a science writing fellow, she was an editorial intern at Undark Magazine, completed a graduate degree in science writing at MIT, and created educational content for Brilliant. She's the author of an award-winning popular science book about the mathematics of maps, Mapmatics: How We Navigate the World Through Numbers.
