Gallery: Enter the Grid With These 9 Tron Objects
01tron-legacy
Robot babes, lasers, ludicrously speedy motorcycles — *Tron: Legacy* is the movie that [sweaty nerds like us live for](http://stag-komodo.wired.com/magazine/2010/11/ff_tron/). It may even be the virtual reality we wish we lived in. With the help of some pricey paraphernalia, we sort of can. Zipping into theaters Friday, Disney's *Tron: Legacy* was drummed up with one of the hugest gadget-driven marketing promotions ever. And fans have started creating their own unlicensed tributes, too, some of which are for sale. Here's some *Tron* gear you can buy to hook into Disney's cyberworld. __See Also:__ - [*Tron: Legacy* Video Clip: Long Time](http://bit.ly/gkdrRN) - [*Tron: Legacy* Inspires Sci-Fi Suite in Swedish Ice Hotel](http://bit.ly/hKEyQX) - [*Tron: Legacy* Billboard Spotlights Olivia Wilde](http://bit.ly/gQ2run) - [*Tron: Legacy* Takes Comic-Con Back to Belly of the Technobeast](http://bit.ly/hH92uh) - [More *Tron: Legacy* coverage on Underwire](http://bit.ly/idyDa5)
02light-cycle
Light Cycle ----------- Computer programs try to smoosh each other in exciting Light Cycle battles in *Legacy*, riding futuristic motorcycles that travel at incredible speeds. You can get a street-legal version of the Light Cycle, like the one pictured above, if you've got an extra $55,000 or so lying around. Assembled by a [Florida bike shop](http://stag-komodo.wired.com/autopia/2010/11/get-your-very-own-street-legal-tron-light-cycle/), the pseudo Light Cycle is a Suzuki TLR1000 bike modified with a fiberglass body and steel frame. It weighs 474 pounds and measures a bit over 100 inches long and 23 inches wide. Check out the video below for a demo. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivPheV77JcU
03monster-phones
Monster Phones -------------- Disney teamed up with Monster Cable to produce the *Tron*-style headphones above. [Sold for $350 a pop](https://www.disneyconsumerproducts.com/Home/display.jsp?contentId=dcp_home_pressroom_pressreleases_dcp_home_pr_us_tron_daft_punk_120810&forPrint=false&language=en&preview=false&imageShow=0&pressRoom=US&translationOf=null®ion=0&ccPK=dcp_home_pressroom_press_room_all_US), these magnificent-rip-off headphones feature Monster's "cutting-edge sonic technology" and fancy blue LED lights to imitate the *Tron* aesthetic.
04ice-hotel
Ice Hotel --------- Two British designers created a [hotel suite inspired by *Tron*](http://stag-komodo.wired.com/underwire/2010/12/tron-legacy-icehotel/?pid=2191) at Sweden's famous Ice Hotel. It really does look like the icy chamber where Kevin Flynn (played by Jeff Bridges) is hiding in the *Legacy* film. Check out the video below for a tour of the suite. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dK9K2Tw\_Mig
05gunnar-3-d-glasses
Gunnar 3-D Glasses ------------------ A common complaint about 3-D movies is the crappy glasses you have to wear. Disney and eyewear company Gunnar have made [*Tron*-branded glasses](http://www.gunnars.com/tron/) compatible with RealD's 3-D screens (which are used in most U.S. theaters that offer 3-D movies). Starting at $100 a pair, these shades ain't cheap, but they supposedly offer high levels of detail if you really want to get immersed in the *Tron* world.
06siren-shoe
Siren Shoe ---------- Disney opened up *Tron* pop-up store at at Royal/T in Culver City, California. For the ladies, some fashion apparel designed by Jerome C. Rousseau, Hayden-Harnett, Rotenier and TomTom will be on display, ranging in price from $90 to $2,600. Among the items on sale, the silver heels above mimic those worn by some siren programs throughout the movie.
07ipod-disc
iPod Disc --------- Each program in the *Tron* world carries a disc that doubles as a weapon and a storage container for its memories. The replica above could be useful for heaving at linecutters on premiere night. Oh, and it charges your iPod, too.
08snow-boots
Snow Boots ---------- Also at Disney's *Tron* pop-up store, the ankle-high footgear worn by male programs throughout Legacy are available as snow boots, perhaps useful if you're sleeping in that *Tron*-inspired Ice Hotel.
09medicom-action-figures
Medicom Action Figures ---------------------- Disney and Medicom designed some *Legacy*-based toy figures resembling the *Tron* programs available next year. The pair of dwarfbots above will cost $20 in January 2011.
1012-inch-action-figures
12-Inch Action Figure --------------------- For those obsessed with detail, Disney and Medicom are also selling 12-inch *Tron* action figures, like the one pictured above, for $230 each. Yup, you get the meticulously crafted jumpsuit, gloves and helmet. On a toy. __See Also:__ - [*Tron: Legacy* Video Clip: Long Time](http://bit.ly/gkdrRN) - [*Tron: Legacy* Inspires Sci-Fi Suite in Swedish Ice Hotel](http://bit.ly/hKEyQX) - [*Tron: Legacy* Billboard Spotlights Olivia Wilde](http://bit.ly/gQ2run) - [*Tron: Legacy* Takes Comic-Con Back to Belly of the Technobeast](http://bit.ly/hH92uh) - [More *Tron: Legacy* coverage on Underwire](http://bit.ly/idyDa5)
