Asus Zenfone 9, Portrait mode. I like this shot. It's colorful, there's solid detail, and the blur accuracy around the subject is near impeccable.

Asus Zenfone 9, Night mode. There are things you can nitpick here, like how the colors in the sky don't quite line up with what they were like in real life (it was even better), but detail is strong, and it captures the vibe well.

Asus Zenfone 9, main camera. This scene is exposed really well, and it's quite sharp overall with natural-looking colors.

Asus Zenfone 9, main camera. It's scenes like this where the Zenfone can produce some bizarre results. It just decided to completely blow out the sky here, losing all detail. Compare it with the following photo.

Google Pixel 7, main camera. This is so much more normal to what the scene was like in real life, and this phone is technically cheaper than the Asus.

Asus Zenfone 9, Night mode. This one's a bit strange. You can see the exposure isn't right on my pup's face.

Asus Zenfone 9, selfie camera. There's a decent selfie camera that can take relatively sharp photos—even if you're in a group.

Asus Zenfone 9, main camera. I spent a little too long trying to take a sharp photo of my dog in his bat costume. The Zenfone struggles when you try to capture a subject that moves around a lot.

Asus Zenfone 9, ultrawide camera. There's an ultrawide on offer alongside the primary camera, and in good lighting, it can prove quite versatile.
