The Best Costco TV Deals on Screens We’ve Tried

You really can buy anything at Costco these days. Beyond comfortable socks and cases of seltzer water, you could also pick up a new television to go with your chicken bake and double chocolate chunk cookie. Some of our favorite televisions are also available to purchase from Costco, either online or at the warehouse while you wait for your pizza.
Of course, there are also practical reasons for buying a television at Costco, like an exceptional return policy that you won't find elsewhere, occasional discounts that beat out other major retailers, and even special bundles exclusively for members.

While a lot of TVs are fighting over the “brightest screen” title, TCL would rather put out a television with a more balanced profile. The mini-LED-powered QM6K boasts deep black levels and wonderfully natural colors across a wide viewing angle, earning it the coveted top spot on our list of favorite TVs. It has all the features you'd expect from a midrange screen, including Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) up to 144 Hz, a low-latency mode for gaming, and support for HDR and Dolby Vision.
It's a great fit for living rooms and busy homes, thanks to the Google TV interface, which is both quick and easy to use. It also supports basically every streaming service, alongside casting from Android or Windows devices.

If you're looking for a more premium television, Costco has the excellent LG G5 OLED in stock. It has exceptional brightness, top-tier glare reduction, and nearly perfect picture quality, with only some minor quibbles keeping this screen from total perfection. It covers a huge color range with impressive accuracy and has a slim design that can be mounted flush to a wall.
It's also an excellent gaming pick. It has a refresh rate of up to 165 Hz at 4K, a perfect fit for your Xbox Series X or PlayStation 5. Variable refresh helps keep demanding games running smoothly, and the Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) means you're never lagging.

Sony Bravia 8 II OLED

At the top end of Sony's OLED spectrum, things are looking mighty fine. The brand has really refined its image processing, and as a result, the Bravia 8 II boasts incredible clarity and performance across a wide variety of media. It has a stylish look, with super thin bezels, and comes loaded with Google TV, which is easy to use and responsive.
While the brightness doesn't quite reach the same peak levels as other screens on the list, it's still an excellent buy for anyone with a sharp eye that can appreciate a really well-tuned television. It has excellent gaming options, too, but only two HDMI 2.1 ports, so gamers with lots of consoles may want to look elsewhere.

For a more budget-friendly option, you might consider the mini-LED-powered Sony Bravia 5, which WIRED writer Ryan Waniata got a chance to check out in Tokyo earlier this year. It boasts strong color accuracy and brightness, as well as solid black levels, but the off-angle viewing isn't quite as clean as some of the other options on our list.
This model also includes Sony's new XR Backlight Master Drive algorithm. This special tech uses image recognition to improve its light distribution, which should result in less bloom in dark areas.

LG C4 OLED
LG's premium C4 OLED panel achieves top-tier contrast, with colors that pop and big brightness that make it a great fit for any room. It's one of our favorite TVs in general and our preferred pick for anyone looking to upgrade to an OLED screen. With the full suite of HDR options, including Dolby Vision, there's not much this TV can't do.
Solid gaming features include support for up to 144-Hz refresh at 4K and Nvidia's G-Sync, which keeps your screen's refresh rate tied to the actual frame rate of the game you're playing, for smooth gameplay with no tearing.

While it isn't quite as bright as the C4, the LG B5 is a more budget-friendly option that still includes the OLED panel. It has the deep black levels that those panels are known for, as well as great contrast and low-light details, but it lacks a bit of refinement that we see with the more expensive models.
It's still a good screen, particularly for gaming, with four HDMI 2.1 inputs and support for both AMD FreeSync Premium and Nvidia G-Sync.
