Gallery: World's Most Bizarre iPhone Accessories, From Creepy Cases to the iPotty
01009-flask
There are some weird and wonderful iPhone and iPad accessories out there. It's a [$6 billion business](http://www.cnn.com/2012/09/18/tech/mobile/iphone-5-accessories-makers), after all. We've found some of the most unique gadgets and cases you can pair with your mobile device for truly bizarre matrimony. An iPhone case with a silicone hand attached? Check. A smartphone robot you control with a second smartphone? Double check. If you want to turn heads with an unusual innovation, make friends laugh at a clearly ridiculous gag gift, or bring your child into the early-adopter sphere as soon as they're able to grip an iPhone in their mitts, check out this collection of bizarre iDevice-centric gear. PowerFlask ---------- If you think mobile chargers are, for the most part, fugly but you want a discreet portable charger to keep your gadget juiced throughout the day, [PowerFlask](http://www.digitaltreasures.com/powerflask/) is the answer. As the name suggests, this power supply looks like a flask, so you’ll look less like a nerd and more like a raging alcoholic. It can charge up to three devices simultaneously from its 13,000 mAh battery, two USB plugs and a handful of charging connectors. Just be sure not to accidentally plug your iDevice into your real flask at the end of the day. *Photo: Alex Washburn / Wired [](http://stag-komodo.wired.com/about/#faq13)*
02Booty Call iPhone Case
Booty Call iPhone Case ---------------------- Nothing says class like a flesh-colored iPhone case featuring a prominent derrieère — complete with “Booty Call” tattooed on one cheek. But having a case with this much junk in the trunk brings an unexpected bonus: that Kardashian keister doubles as a stand! So bootyfull? If you’re feeling trashy, or just think this is the best prank gift ever, you can grab one of your own from [Amazon](http://www.amazon.com/Big-Mouth-Toys-Ibooty-Iphone/dp/B004QDVL64).
03004-iPotty
2-in-1 Potty With Activity Seat for iPad ---------------------------------------- Let your little one wee while they tap and wipe while they swipe away at *Cut the Rope* or *Nick Jr. Draw & Play*. A touchscreen protector guards against “little messy accidents,” according to the [product description](http://www.amazon.com/CTA-Digital-iPotty-Activity-Seat/dp/B00B3G8UGQ ). And when they’re not getting down to business, you can put a seat cover over the toilet seat so they can sit and have even more Retina display fun. This is what the iPad was made for.
04005-theta
Theta ----- The [Theta](http://buytheta.com/) is an earbud holder that doubles as an iPhone or smartphone stand. As an earbud containment device, it’s stellar. Simply secure the jack in a slit in the circular plastic piece, wrap the cord, and secure the earpieces through another slit. Voilà, your cable is organized. As an iPhone stand, it’s pretty darn horrible because its circular frame covers a portion of the screen. But we discovered an even better use for it: as a '90s-style [T-shirt clip](http://childrenofthenineties.blogspot.com/2010/04/totally-non-functional-90s-fashion.html)! *Photo: Alex Washburn / Wired [](http://stag-komodo.wired.com/about/#faq13)*
05Minime
Minime iPhone Case ------------------ In theory, this iPhone case is a cute, personalized accessory that commemorates a loved one, or your favorite celebrity. But the product — we saw them [firsthand](http://stag-komodo.wired.com/gadgetlab/2013/01/ces-liveblog-day-6/) at CES — ends up being creepy. Minime prints your photo onto 3-D film, which is then stretched over a mold to create a realistic visage, including recessed eyes and a protruding nose. This is placed behind a plastic case, with the face peeking through a hole. [Minime](http://minimeusa.com/buy_me/cases) has about 35 cases to choose from, so you can turn your baby boy, for example, into a cowboy or angel, or put a photo of your wife’s face onto the body of a cartoony bride or snowman. Like we said. Creepy. *Photo: Christina Bonnington / Wired*
06006-romotive
Romo Smartphone Robot --------------------- Bizarre isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Take, for instance, Romo. Set to debut this summer, [Romo](http://romotive.com/meet-romo#meet-romo) is a small bot you control with a smartphone. You can play games with Romo, wheel it around, or use it as a surrogate, telepresence playmate to terrorize your pet when you aren’t at home. But the kicker? The brains of this robot is *another* smartphone. This makes me think of like, a dog walking a dog on a leash. O robot overlords, please don’t punish us for this comparison!
07003-hand
Hand iPhone Case ---------------- Feeling lonely? Need a helping hand? This iPhone case from — where else? — Japan is here to give you a hand. Literally. This [Hand iPhone Case](http://item.rakuten.co.jp/keitai/54-169995/?scid=af_ich_link_txt) features an adult- or child-sized hand affixed to the back of a black iPhone case. It’s one of the weirdest iAccessories we’ve ever seen. Unfortunately, it appears to be out of stock, so if you think a case like this would be handy, you’ll have to scrounge around the interwebs for one.
08007-laser
Cube Laser Virtual Keyboard for iPhone and iPad ----------------------------------------------- Sure, your iOS device has onscreen keyboard, and you can get third party Bluetooth keyboards or keyboard cases all day long. But if you want to type on anything, anywhere, you need something like this laser virtual keyboard, which projects your standard keyboard keys onto any flat surface. It’s probably one of the most [futuristic iOS accessories](http://www.thinkgeek.com/product/e722/?srp=1#tabs) you can get your hands on, and the projector does fit in the palm of your hand. *Photo: Alex Washburn / Wired [](http://stag-komodo.wired.com/about/#faq13)*
09008-laughandlearn
Laugh and Learn Baby iPhone Case -------------------------------- This [Fisher Price iPhone](http://www.thinkgeek.com/product/e8ef/?srp=27#tabs) case is ridonkulous. A toy like this does not need an iPhone. Period. End of story. In fact, why not let your toddler teethe on this exact same toy, just without putting your iPhone inside? That point aside, this case would appear to keep your iPhone snug and secure for when your little one eventually tosses your iPhone at the wall with the surprising strength babies are known for. It’s also dribble- and drool-resistant, which is good, because it will get slobbered on.
