Driving in the Mountains of Mongolia ------------------------------------ Submitted by Alex __Photographer's comment:__ "In the summer of 2009, my friend and I drove a car from London to Mongolia in a Ford Ka. Two days after crossing the Mongolian border from Russia, we drive into a snow storm in the Altai Mountains. Our small 1.2-liter–engine car managed to traverse the storm. In the photo you can see another rally car in front of us."

The overabundance of snow was actually quite eerie and spectacular at the same time. This photo was simply an intriguing shot. The mailbox, American flag, and the ridiculous amount of snow brought out a child-like excitement in me. Shot with an old FujiFilm digital camera."
