Moto G Stylus, main camera. This is a solid daytime photo with good detail on the church. I'm just not a fan of the color of the sky, which wasn't as light blue as this image suggests.

Moto G Stylus, main camera. Here's another instance where the sky is just unnaturally blue, especially where it's closer to the horizon. Zoom in and the detail on the image is actually pretty decent.

Moto G Stylus, Night mode. Honestly, this isn't a dreadful photo. You can still see everything you'd want to see\! But everything also looks very hazy and fuzzy—there's a ton of noise—and some of these colors don't quite match up to the scene in real life.

Moto G Stylus, main camera. Then you get photos like this, which I actually really like. The detail is sharp and colors are pretty accurate, exactly what you'd want.

Moto G Stylus, Night mode. Compare this photo with the following Pixel photo. It's decently detailed, if a bit fuzzy, But there's a bit of a fade on the upper half of the image where it tries too hard to lift the shadows. That creates a bit of a weird blue hue too.

Google Pixel 5A 5G, Night mode. The Pixel photo is much sharper, and the colors are much more accurate to the scene IRL. It handles the top, darker part of the photo just fine. Honestly, just the general vibe of the photo is so much nicer.

Moto G Stylus, Night mode. This is another one of those images that are *fine* for low light. Details are *just* there, though colors are undersaturated. Some parts of the photo look blotchy too. Compare this with the following image.

Google Pixel 5A 5G, Night mode. It's almost like putting on prescription glasses for the first time. The detail is significantly sharper, there isn't anywhere near as much grain, and the colors are better. Seriously, you can even see the detailed brickwork of the red building on the right.

Moto G Stylus, main camera. This isn't a real apple (there's chocolate almond biscuit on the base, a caramel and basil apple jelly center, and white chocolate mousse and tea glaze around it). Er, what was I saying? Anyway, I like this shot.

Moto G Stylus, main camera. Yes, my dog's head was moving slightly as I took this picture because he was very happy with all the pets he was getting. Too bad this photo is annoyingly fuzzy.

Moto G Stylus, Night mode. You can see how the camera doesn't deal with hand shake all that well. This photo is slightly blurry, even though it's exposed decently well.

Moto G Stylus, selfie camera. The Google Pixel 6's [real tone feature](https://www.wired.com/review/google-pixel-6-and-pixel-6-pro/) has me spoiled. My skin tone is nowhere near this pink (nor as fair). Look closely and there's also almost no detail on my face—the phone is aggressively smoothing everything out.
