OnePlus 8 Pro's 3x zoom can zoom in quite a bit, but it boosts colors a little too much. Compare it to the following Pixel photo.

Pixel 4 XL's 2x optical zoom doesn't go nearly as far, but the colors are much more natural and details are a hair sharper. It also does a better job exposing the sky and showing various gradients.
