The Immersis projector was designed to look like a cross between the Pixar lamp's evil twin and a tripod from the *War of the Worlds*.

The creators of Immersis are aware that gaming tools might need to be stowed away and designed the tripod to be collapsible.

Technically, Immersis promises a hi-def resolution of 1920 X 1080, with a 180° horizontal field of view and a 120° vertical field of view. It will feature a 3,000 Lumen projector with a 100,000:1 contrast ratio. It will only support PCs through HDMI/DVI at the start, though a stretch goal to support OSX is on offer.
