Photograph: Julian Chokkattu05Moto G Stylus 5G 2022, Night mode. Here's where the Motorola phone starts to falter. This dark scene of a park is somewhat visible and usable, it's just very fuzzy; there isn't much detail. For example, the trees are just a blur. 
Photograph: Julian Chokkattu06Google Pixel 5A, Night Sight. This feels like it was taken by a phone camera twice the price of the Motorola phone. Everything is just so much more visible, from the trees to the playground. Colors shine through, details pop, and it's overall exactly what you'd want when shooting in low light.

Photograph: Julian Chokkattu08Google Pixel 5A, main camera. Google preserves more detail here—zoom closely on the subject's face. You'll pick up more details. There's stronger contrast overall, and the lighting looks more natural than in the bright Moto photo.
Photograph: Julian Chokkattu09Moto G 5G, Night mode. It's an acceptable photo, but pay a bit more and you can do better. For example, look at the details around the deli. In the Moto photo, details are blotchy and there's a good deal of noise that's smoothed out. Look at the following Pixel photo.

Photograph: Julian Chokkattu11Moto G 5G, selfie camera. I … do not like the selfie camera on either of these new Motorola phones. It brightens my skin, takes out all the detail, and just isn't very pleasant. 
Photograph: Julian Chokkattu12Google Pixel 5A, selfie camera. Again, here it almost looks like you've paid several hundred more dollars for a better camera, but the Moto G 5G is $400, and the Pixel 5A is $50 more. It's so much sharper, and the colors are closer to real life.
