Photograph: Julian Chokkattu04Google Pixel 5A, Night Sight. This is a $450 phone that has the same camera system as the $700 Pixel 5. I prefer the camera quality here over Samsung's folding phones. The Pixel photo has more noise but it's just as sharp and has nicer contrast as well as more accurate colors.

Samsung is aggressive with its over-brightening as usual, sucking out all the contrast, but this is still a great shot considering the subject was moving very quickly. And it was captured in Portrait mode no less, so you get the nice bokeh effect around the dog (it's not perfect though, you can see the blur effect clipping my dog's ears).

I just folded the Fold3 in half and used the screen angled toward my face to see what the camera was looking at. It makes it easier to frame the shot\! Too bad the pizza didn't taste as good.
