Gallery: The Things We Loved This Week
01Formlabs Form 1
Haters gonna hate, and they can create their own weekly slideshows. We've got nothing but love for this stuff. Formlabs Form 1 --------------- If you think 2-D laser printers are cool--and really, who doesn't?--wait until you use this 3-D laser printer. The [Form 1 stereolithographic 3-D printer](http://stag-komodo.wired.com/reviews/2013/09/formlabs-form-1/) creates three-dimensional models by zapping a tub full of liquid plastic resin with an ultraviolet laser. Compared to rival 3-D printers, the Form 1 is capable of much more detailed creations. It's even an aesthetically pleasing piece of hardware in its own right. *Photo: Ariel Zambelich/WIRED*
02LG VH9200DS Bed Cleaner
LG VH9200DS Bed Cleaner ----------------------- One of the best things about Cheetos is that you can eat them in bed, then use your sheets as a giant face-napkin. You can hide the mess by buying neon-orange bedding, or you can clean it up the proper way using [this built-for-bed cleaning machine](http://stag-komodo.wired.com/gadgetlab/2013/09/ifa-gallery/#slideid-192601). Its rapidly vibrating suction head, bristles, and UV lamp should take care of Cheeto detritus, and the VH9200DS is also designed to eliminate that parade of ants and bed bugs who've also invited themselves to your snack party. *Photo: Maurizio Pesce/WIRED ITALIA*
03Tech That Lets Its Freak Flag Fly
Tech That Lets Its Freak Flag Fly --------------------------------- There's no accounting for taste. Roberto Baldwin seems to think that the gold-and-snakeskin Pentax LX SLR is one of the most-hideous items in gadget history, while I think it might be the best thing that has ever existed. Besides, it's not even [the craziest colored camera Pentax has created](http://stag-komodo.wired.com/gadgetlab/2010/05/rainbow-colored-pentax-k-x-requires-sunglasses-to-use/). Boldly designed/colored devices may be polarizing, but it's usually a lot of fun to look at pictures of them. Let Roberto be your guide through the [weird and wonderful world of dramatically hued gadgetry](http://stag-komodo.wired.com/gadgetlab/2013/09/color-of-tech/). *Photo courtesy of Pentax*
04Apple iPhone 5S (32GB)
Apple iPhone 5S (32GB) ---------------------- Like a shrewd offensive coordinator, Roberto Baldwin has analyzed the game tape and come up with the path to iPhone-buying victory: [Get the 32GB iPhone 5S](http://stag-komodo.wired.com/gadgetlab/2013/09/this-is-the-iphone-to-buy/). Out of all the new Apple smartphones, it has the ultimate combination of storage capacity, photographic prowess, processor power, security features, and build materials. If you can't decide on a color, go for gold. [Gold is best](http://teamcoco.com/video/conan-highlight-gold-iphone). *Photo: Alex Washburn/WIRED*
05Saddleback Leather Waterbag
Saddleback Leather Waterbag --------------------------- The [all-leather Waterbag's secret](http://stag-komodo.wired.com/reviews/2013/09/saddleback-waterbag/) to keeping its contents dry is simple: It has only two seams, and it's made from a single piece of leather. This isn't a lightweight go-bag, but it's about as rugged and everything-proof as a bag can get. At 10 pounds when empty, it's heavy enough to make up for the weight of the money it took out of your wallet. It costs $710. *Photo: Alex Washburn/WIRED*
06Novation Launchpad Mini
Novation Launchpad Mini ----------------------- This 7.3 x 7.3-inch portable music controller may look like an electronic Scrabble board, but it's so much more than that. If you want to help the gentlemen and the ladies get hype at the club, tote along the [Launchpad Mini controller](http://stag-komodo.wired.com/gadgetlab/2013/09/launchpad/), plug it into your iPad, fire up the Launchpad iOS app, and cold rock the spot. The Launchpad Mini also works with higher-end music-production software such as Ableton Live and FL Studio when you use it with a full-on computer. *Photo courtesy of Novation*
07Turn Your Phone's Colors Inside-Out
Turning Your Phone's Colors Inside-Out -------------------------------------- By this time next week, iOS 7 will be available. If you can't wait that long to give your phone's interface a new look, try Christina Bonnington's tip for [inverting the colors on your phone's display](http://stag-komodo.wired.com/gadgetlab/2013/09/invert-iphone-display/). If you're using an AMOLED-screened Android phone, this trick can even help you conserve battery life. *Photo: Alex Washburn/WIRED*
08Curb
Curb ---- The [Curb](http://stag-komodo.wired.com/gadgetlab/2013/09/curb-wedge-laptop-cool/) is the silicone twin brother of the Toblerone bar, and although it's not edible, it is made of food-grade silicone. It's an ingeniously simple way to keep your lap cool and the air flowing more freely around your laptop's CPU. It even has a little notch in the middle to run your power cord through. *Photo courtesy of Curb*
09Olympus OM-D E-M1
Olympus OM-D E-M1 ----------------- Olympus has been on a bit of a roll lately. The compact interchangeable-lens [PEN EP-5](http://stag-komodo.wired.com/reviews/2013/09/olympus-ep5/) is a fast-focusing, fast-shooting standout in the mirrorless world, and the [new flagship OM-D E-M1](http://stag-komodo.wired.com/gadgetlab/2013/09/olympus-om-d-e-m1/) is bound to push the performance of its Micro Four-Thirds lineup to new heights. It has the same excellent five-axis stabilization system as previous high-end Olympus cameras, faster capture speeds, dual phase- and contrast-detection autofocus, and a useful set of Wi-Fi features. It's freeze-proof and splash-proof, to boot. *Photo courtesy of Olympus*
