Gallery: Working Spaces: Tour Wired's New York Digs
01wired-lobby
*A massive, marble reception desk used to stand in every floor's lobby at 4 Times Square. But the [receptionists were all let go](http://www.nypost.com/p/news/business/item_7ymCUDMZomTMqDDwszzlvM;jsessionid=087397513B826057B01894A820793F2D) as the media business imploded in the summer of '09. Now, there's a phone directory and a not half-bad sitting area where some employees even retreat to make a quiet call.*

*Here's a look back out into the lobby, from just inside the door.*

05noah-shachtmans-cubicle
*Just across from my space is [Danger Room](http://stag-komodo.wired.com/dangerroom) editor Noah Shachtman's cubicle. To my knowledge, he has not taken the hint.*

09stacy-and-andy
*Stacy McIntyre, one of our awesome advertising people, has a thing for Andy. Evidently, Andy's not so sure.*
10reddit-board
*Usually, the [Reddit](http://www.reddit.com) white board contains the typically inscrutable, bullet-point-laden morass of action points you find in every office. Then one morning ... this disturbing message appeared. It was erased shortly thereafter.*
11dave-mosher-hard-at-work
*[Dave Mosher](http://stag-komodo.wired.com/wiredscience/author/davemosher/), contributor to Wired Science, pretends to be hard at work.*
12conference-room-banquette
