Bryan Edwards03rod
[__Sage Accel Fly Rod | $595__](http://www.sageflyfish.com/blog/07/2014/accel-fly-rod-series/) Fly fishing rods can be described by their "action," the speed with which they respond to your movements. Some anglers like fast action, others like it slow. Sage's new Accel is designed for those who want something in between. It's quick enough to set a hook, but not so rapid that the overenthusiastic among us pluck the fly from the fish's mouth.

Stephanie Gonot11hamilton-watch
__[Hamilton Khaki Pilot](http://www.hamiltonwatch.com/collection/khaki/aviation) | $945__ Before microprocessors conquered the cockpit, astronauts relied partly on wristwatches to get home safely. The simple utility of the aviator's watch is exemplified by this Hamilton timepiece. The self-winding movement is resistant to magnetic fields and works even in zero gravity -- even if you're jumping through wormholes.
Bryan Edwards12oracle-espresso
[__Breville Oracle Espresso Machine | $1999__](http://www.brevilleusa.com/the-oracle.html) Pulling a perfect shot of espresso takes practice. Pulling a perfect shot of espresso consistently takes even more practice. Thankfully, the Oracle automates the tricky bits -- grinding, dosing, tamping, and milk texturizing -- leaving you free to concentrate on your latte art.

Not the SMEG. This refreshing dose of '50s simplicity has only the most sensible modern additions (adjustable shelving, an inner freezer, an energy-efficient design) and none of the wacky ones (a baby monitor).
Stephanie Gonot | Set By Adi Goodrich14milkman-amp
