WIRED Community Guidelines
WIRED is obsessed with what comes next. Through rigorous investigations and game-changing reporting, we tell stories that don’t just reflect the moment—they help create it. Reader comments are essential to our goal of fostering a truly connected WIRED community, and we invite anyone interested in sharing insight, asking questions, and engaging in respectful disagreement to join the conversation. Create an account to be a part of it all.
At WIRED, we value active participation from our readers and invite you to share your thoughts on our stories. The comments section is a space for conversation and community, where readers can raise topics, exchange ideas, and engage with one another. We ask that you help foster a thoughtful, respectful, and welcoming atmosphere for everyone.
We moderate to ensure the information exchanged in comments is contextual, constructive, and trustworthy. Our comments are moderated by human reviewers, Monday through Friday. As a result, some comments and replies only appear on articles once approved, usually within 1-2 days.
