Today was the day I learned I have been vastly underestimating how much people obsess over the outgoing video quality of their Zooms and FaceTimes. I've always thought good audio was more important than good video on calls, and that good lighting was the best way to improve your video … but I guess I need to try this freakish plastic disc now.
Don't miss Brenda's video of the new MacBook Air below. We also have an in-depth look at the features and specs of both new laptops.
See our roundup of Everything Apple Announced today at the WWDC keynote.
We were able to see the new MacBook Airs briefly over at Steve Jobs Theater. Some Apple executives were roaming freely there as well, including Jeff Williams, Phil Schiller and Greg Jozwiak. Williams declined to answer my questions about any supply chain challenges Apple (or the broader industry) might be experiencing.
Tim Cook made a brief appearance, posing in front of the (untouchable) display of MacBook Airs.
