The Ocho System is a wellness strategy

that I founded in college.

I just realized there kind of had to be

a better integrative kind of moment

for the hectic lifestyle of modern living.

I started all of my businesses accidentally,

and then turned into something

that you needed paperwork and a bank account

to get money for.

I think the most notable thing I've created

was Naughty X, our smart, yoga line

that has embedded technology

throughout the hips, the knees, and the ankles.

I'm a writer, a content creator and travel expert.

Jet Black is a travel agency that focuses

on increasing tourism to countries in Africa,

Central and South America and the Caribbean.

I feel like tourism is a really great sector

for economic opportunities

for people living in those countries.

I get my best thinking done when I'm putting pen to paper.

On planes because there's no internet.

In the shower or when I'm doing nothing

laying on the floor of my house.

In what I'm doing, what I think will change the world

is really showing the world through the lens

of a black woman.

It's important to change the narrative

to just make people see the world differently.

The version of the future that we are designing for

is one where a human exists

with this beautiful bubble of data around them

that empowers them.

I think I could help change the world

by helping individual people recreate

not just themselves but how they exist

in this space we call home.
