CES 2013: Curved OLED TV

Samsung is showing the curved OLED TV set.

It's a 55 inch set with 1080p resolution.

It's calling it the world's first curved OLED TV,

although there are actually two curved OLED Tvs here at CES.

It's curved because it gives you kind of

an immersive quality when you're looking at it.

You know, 3D hasn't really taken off with consumers,

but this way you can still have a nice immersive picture

and yet not have to wear silly glasses.

No pricing or release date's been set.
