I am a SAWTA and CW21 certified

watchmaker working in New York City.

Today, we're gonna break apart these two watches.

[upbeat music]

This is the side where the magic happens for the watchmaker.

This is where we're doing the majority of our work.

The thing that people really like about watchmaking

is it's kind of the incorporation of art and science.

It is a craft and there is creativity involved, but then,

there's also times where there are

very strict guidelines you have to follow.

Here are the two completely

disassembled movements side by side.
