Elon Musk Robot Dog Found Wandering Streets Of San Francisco
A deeply unsettling robot dog bearing the eerily realistic face of Elon Musk was spotted mid-walkies on the streets of San Francisco on Wednesday, April 8.
The robot is part of the Regular Animals project by Beeple, aka Mike Winkelmann, created in collaboration with mask-maker Hyperflesh and built on Unitree Go2 robot dogs.
Art foundation NODE told WIRED the robots were taken out on a walk to promote Beeple’s upcoming exhibition in Palo Alto.
Other versions of the robot dog feature the faces of Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, and Beeple himself.
