It took the mighty minds and resources of WIRED, YouTube, Stan Winston School, Legacy Effects, and Conde Nast Entertainment to create an insanely detailed, one-of-a-kind, 9 foot 9 inch Mech with four arms to usher in the 2013 San Diego Comic Con. And who better to announce it than Adam Savage, of Tested and Mythbusters. It is ready to blow your mind. Hey everybody it's Adam Savage from tested.com and

Discovery channel's MythBusters. I am at Comic-Con 2013.

This is where 140,000 people are gonna gather this week to

celebrate culture, science fiction, fantasy and costuming.

And this year, Wired Magazine in conjunction with Conde Nast

Entertainment, YouTube, and the building mad geniuses

Stan Winston School and Legacy Effects have decided to

jump into the costuming fray, and they've jumped hard.

Behind me is something that they're calling just The

Robot, I have not seen it yet, I swear. I'm going to see

it for the first time in just a second, you're going to

see it with me. Let's see it.

(laughs)

How are you?

Wow!

This is beautiful!

Thank you. You look beautiful too.

(laughs)

These guys built this in twenty-four days is that right?

Yes, twenty-four days. 2,000 man hours.

Did anyone get beaten by the arms while you guys were

putting it together?

There were many casualties.

(laughs)

Would you like to see me walk?

I do! Go ahead, show me what you got.
