Hundreds Join Anti-ICE Demonstration at 2026 Super Bowl
Hundreds of anti-ICE protesters gathered near Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara on Sunday afternoon as the Super Bowl kicked off, marching through the streets and chanting, “Say it once, say it twice, we will not put up with ICE,” among other slogans.
In the days leading up to the Super Bowl, rumors were buzzing about possible actions by ICE agents, even though the NFL and California governor Gavin Newsom said on Thursday that there would be “no immigration enforcement tied to the game.” No large-scale immigration enforcement operations tied to the event have been reported.
